As you can tell from the headline, NEOVERSE - today released on Switch - somewhat defies categorization. Developed by Korean development house Tino Gamez, NEOVERSE is part deck-builder, part roguelite, and part strategy RPG. Take a look at the Xbox trailer below for a better understanding:
Since it's release on Steam last February, NEOVERSE has garnered an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam - with over 2,400 reviews, so there has to be something pretty amazing going on here. Here's a list of features from a recent press release, to further define what NEOVERSE is all about:
- Create your own Strategy with 300 cards and over 100 skills.
- Choose from three Charismatic Heroes, each with their own unique abilities and specialties.
- Over 70 types of Monsters to battle, each with their own skills, techniques and fighting styles.
- Multiple skill Combinations for each Hero. Play your way.
- Play for fun and adventure or take on challenging levels for more hardcore players.
Neoverse is available today on Nintendo Switch, retailing for $24.00. It will also be available in February on PlayStation 4 (and PS5, via backwards compatibility).
